Peter Flynt was born in 1953 in Zlin, Czech Republic, where he still lives. In 1967 he borrowed his father’s old bellows Voigtländer and photographed his future wife, which introduced him to the art; he went on to study medicine at Palacký University in Olomouc and began to “study the human body in depth”.
His photographic influences include Jan Saudek and Diane Arbus.
